Connor's 4th Birthday

January 2024

We started off the month by trying to build a snowman. Unfortunately, the snow was too dry to pack well enough.

We celebrated Connor's 6th birthday this month. Since it fell on Martin Luther King Day this year, we got to celebrate the whole day with him and family. We started off the day by traveling down to Springville and using our first Get Out Pass at the recreation center there. Those who were in the area got to come join us as well, which included: Grandma and Grandpa Scott, Amulek Oakeson, Windsor Scott, and Ryan Scott.

After swimming the morning away, we went and had lunch at our favorite place in Heber called Dairy Keen.

After lunch, We went over to the Heber Creeper and took a train ride around the reservoir. The boys wanted the window open the entire time, however, it was pretty cold so we tried to open it for a little while and then closed it to warm up again.

Finally we came home and had cake and ice cream. Connor's cake was Mario Kart themed.

After cake, we opened presents. Connor got a dinosaur car track, a new game called Funny Bunny, a marble track, a car park, and monster trucks.

We got a lot of snow in the month of January. Bo and Connor were definitely the most excited to play in the snow.

The family took a trip to the circus at the end of the month. The boys say it was fun but I think they enjoyed the treats we bought more than the show. Although their favorite was definitely the motorcycles in the metal sphere. We also say elephants, camels, and lots of aerial artists. The man on the spinning wheel was pretty awesome as well.
