The First Majestic Christmas Tree

We have been married now for about 5 months now and are coming up on our first Christmas together. So for Family Home Evening we went and got a real tree, stand, ornaments, lights, and candy canes. For all you out there a Christmas tree is not complete without Candy Canes! O yeah, we got a light up star for the top as well. The tree looks very nice. Liz put on the ornaments while I put the hooks onto the ornaments. Who knew they sell all or most ornaments without the hooks so you have to buy them seperately. More pictures enjoy.
Tree before the commercialization.

I was in charge of candy canes of course.

Liz barely lost to the camera timer.

Was no timer.

Perfect Timing

The Beautiful Liz in Action!

This was the BYU marching band's fall performance in the De Jong concert hall. I probably misspelled that. O well, since pictures are worth a thousand words here they are.
The color guard had to take turns coming on to stage, so I did not see as much of Liz as I would have liked.

Needless to say I am not the best photographer. Although my camera is not the best either.

Halloween 2013 Numero Uno

HALLOWEEN 2013
Liz and I's first Halloween!!
We went to the Allen's for a dinner cooked in a pumpkin, mormon muffins, and candy corn cookies with frosting. After which, the carving festivities. We chose our victim and began to slice open his head. Following we gutted him, and then sliced his face up some more. At the end he looked like a skull and crossbones. I was the artist and Liz was the slice and dice extravagant. We got brownies and Ice cream and then left for Lindon to ride the Stringtown Nightmare Express. There was no line and the ride was quite legit. Sorry no pictures of that, we uh took a 4 minute black video.
I didn't actually gut much.

Expert artist skills.

The slicing maelstrom mistress.

Tus muy tonto couplo de el gato de fuego.

All done!

The rest of the crew: Kyle, Melissa, Rachel, Becca, and David (left to right)

Both of us posing our finished pumpkin.

Seated waiting for the train.

Until next Halloween!
