Honey Moon

Before we got married, Jeff decided he didn't want to have to plan activities for us on our honey moon so we decided to go on a cruise to Mexico for our Honey moon, that way we could just go with what ever we felt like seeing that day. This was the first experience that I have of leaving the country except for a trip to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. I t was really interesting. Although Jeff served his mission in Scotland so he has lived out of the country so he is a pro.

We left our reception and took the canyon to Heber City and on to Park City. We got lost on the way because we missed the turn we needed to take. Although we were lucky because we ran into someone who was also on their way to Park City and showed us the way there. We finally got to the hotel around
10:30 pm.

The next day, we went and rode the Alpine Slide. If you don't know what that is, it is sort of like a water slide on the side of a mountain except there is no water and you ride down on a cart that has a lever to brake. It was super fun! Although we had to stand in line for a while. The rest of the day we spent swimming and spending time together.

We went back to our apartment and went to church on Sunday.

Monday morning we got on a plane and flew to Long Beach California. There we took a shuttle to the Carnival port where we checked in. We had no problems getting checked in. The first thing we did when we got on the boat was eat lunch. That is what you are supposed to do on a cruise right? Eat everything because it is already paid for. After that we walked around the boat to see what there was to do. There was a swimming pool, 2 hot tubs, a miniature golf course, there were ping pong tables, water slides, and a bunch of theater style rooms where they have all the shows.

The second day we spent on Catalina Island where we went kayaking on the ocean. We got to see lots of ocean animals. We saw a bat ray, at least 10 leopard sharks, and lots of colorful fish. After kayaking, we went back on the boat and ate lunch. Then we went back to the island and walked around for a while.

The third day, we were in Ensenada Mexico. There we got to ride horses at a ranch.

After horseback riding, we walked around all the shops and stuff on the main street of town. After a while of walking around we saw something super unique. We got to hold a lion cub. It was a booth that was promoting a natural habitat. So they had a lion cub that you could hold and take a picture with if you donated money to their cause. So we had the opportunity to hold it.

The last day was all at sea. We saw a bunch of shows. And did fun things on the boat. The next day we got off the boat and took a taxi back to the airport where we flew back to Provo. The entire week was amazing. We had a ton of fun and I would recommend a cruise to anyone who asks. It was a fantastic experience and we didn't really have to worry about a thing. It was an amazing experience and we had a ton of fun!
