Polar Express

Wyatt took his first train ride this past weekend when we took a trip down to Lindon. There every December they put on a "polar express" where you can meet Santa and be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas.

Wyatt loved looking at all the Christmas lights set up everywhere and didn't cry at all. We also lucked out in the fact that the weather was perfect and we all only needed a light jacket.

We put an elf hat on Wyatt and he looked so cute, sorry still no picture of him smiling.

Thanksgiving

This year we had 2 Thanksgiving dinners. The Sunday before Thanksgiving, we had our own dinner as a family. We had turkey breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, yam souffle, green bean casserole, rolls, and pumpkin pie for dessert. It was delicious! Here are some pictures we took of that night.

Then on Thanksgiving Day we went to Jeff's parents house and had a Thanksgiving dinner with his immediate family minus Megan and Gordon. It was a fun filled week and we had lots of fun!

In this picture Windsor and Wyatt are missing as well as Hunter who is taking the picture

3 Months Old

Wyatt is 3 months old now!
Time has flown by, just like everyone said it would.
We have had a lot of fun this months.

With the nice weather throughout November we went on lots of walks as a family and had fun in the park. Wyatt also went to a football game with Jeff and I. Another big event was meeting Papoo for the first time when he flew out here for a wedding. That was an exciting weekend that we got to spend with him.

Here are some of Wyatt's favorite things this month:

1) Wyatt LOVES to take bathes in the big tub
2) He loves kisses and tries to eat your lips when you give him a kiss
3) Wyatt has learned how to roll onto his side and slowly turns in circles when he is on the floor
4) He is responding to his name more now
5) Doing very well at following people with his head when they are walking around the room he is in
6) Is sleeping 9-10 hours straight at night!!!!

Here are some pictures from the past month:

November football game against UNLV. It was chilly so we left early but BYU won!

I still have never managed to get a picture of Wyatt when he is smiling:( But here are some where he is actually looking at the camera and thats success enough for me.

Halloween FHE

Every week we had family home evening, or at least we spend time together as a family. Most of the time we don't plan ahead what we are going to do and there fore spend the evening binge watching some tv show or another. This week however, we actually had a plan and carried it out. We carved pumpkins!!

Jeff and I each carved a pumpkin while Wyatt sat in his bouncer chair and played with his toys. Here are the pumpkins we made:

Wyatt's Blessing Day

Ww had the opportunity to bless Wyatt and give him a name at our church on Sunday Oct. 26, 2014. For those of you who don't know we are member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We don't believe in the baptism of infants. People are only baptized in our church after the age of accountability, which is 8 years old. Whenever a baby is born in our church, and is old enough, they are given a name and a blessing in our weekly sacrament meeting. In these blessings, the baby is usually blessed with talents and other gifts from our Heavenly Father.

This was a joyous occasion filled with lots of family and fun times. Thank you for all who were able to come and be apart of this special time. Those who were there include:

Grandma and Grandpa Scott
Grandma and Grandpa Windsor
Windsor and Charleigh Scott
Emilee and Steve Oakeson
Ryan and Emerald Scott
Dailand and Suzy Allen
Steven and Julianna Allen
Rachel and Becca Allen
Erica Bybee
Wendy Farnsworth
Aubrey Farnsworth
Rachel and Dave Speldos
Ned and Jen Williams
Thomas Pritchard
David Hampton

Here are some of the pictures taken that day:

We had a lunch at our apartment after church. It was a little cozy but so much fun to have everyone there.

These are the guys who were in the circle with David Hampton standing in for Dave Speldos who had to leave after sacrament meeting.

Halloween 2014

Halloween 2014: Wyatt's First!

We had our ward Halloween Party on this the 25th of October. We had a grand ol'time. Free food what else could you ask for.... After we ate we put Wyatt in his bomb diggity costume. If I do say so myself. Since we put all of our creativity into Wyatt's costume we dressed up as twins and said we were little kids playing with our lego man. Here he is:

Our Little Lego Man!

It was a bit of a struggle to get him into the costume, but we did it.

We came as twiners. Intramural Champions baby!!!! We came out of BYU with the three most coveted things. In order of difficulty: Number 3 a degree, Number 2 a spouse, and Number 1 an intramural champion t-shirt. Booyah!

Liz made me go into the parade while she took pictures.

All this work wiped him out. We got a lot of oohs and aahs of how cute he was as a lego man. Mission accomplished. Also, I may add he was unique. No other lego guys there.

Our two favorite decorated trunks.

This is personally my favorite. How can you beat Yoshi? You can't!

Happy Halloween!
