California 2014

The only picture I (Jeff) took on UC Berkeley was of this deer. I thought I would have other opportunities, but Liz's work hours were literally during the night. I do not think Liz was expecting this at all. The first night was 9 pm to 9 am. Wo baby! The next two nights were midnight to 9 am. I guess no one wanted that time slot. We stayed in Oakland.

We went to the John Muir Woods. A national park containing Coastal Red Woods. They aren't the super fat ones, but they are taller.

We saw quite a few of these little buggers crawling around.

Right after the woods we went to Muir Beach. We got our feet wet, but it was quite cold so that was all we did. We explored some tide pools and saw some crabs.

Baby Shower

While my mom was here for graduation, we decided to throw a baby shower. It was winnie the pooh themed so Jeff's mom Lori made a cake in the shape of pooh's face.

As part of one of the games we made a diaper and filled it with baby things. Then we showed everyone the cake for about 3 minutes and then took it away and they had to write down all the stuff that was on the cake that they remembered. Whomever remembered the most, won a prize.

Another game we played was a baby word scramble. There were 25 words that had to do with baby things and we had to unscramble the words.
