Spencer is 5 months

Spencer is 5 months old.This month he:

~ Is really rolling around now. He can now see something he wants to get and roll around until he reaches it.

~ He is sitting up better but hasn't been able to hold himself in a sitting position yet.

~ He stands in his walker by himself pretty well these days. Although he has yet to actually move anywhere in it yet.

~ Puts everything in his mouth

~ Has started drooling like crazy

Halloween

We had lots of fun this Halloween in our new house. We got to go to our wards trunk or treat on Tuesday. 

Wyatt loved playing and jumping around in the leaves.

We also had fun carving our pumpkins. Wyatt wasn't much help. He didn't even want to help pull the pumpkin guts out.

Wyatt was Woody this year and we dressed up Spencer as Buzz Light year but he didn't go out with us. He stayed at home with Dad and helped pass out candy. Wyatt loved knocking on doors and getting candy although he did get tired pretty fast.

We even had monsters in the house for the month.

Black Island Farms Corn Maze

To celebrate the Halloween season we went to Black Island Farms in Syracuse UT. We had a lot of fun. 

Wyatt loved climbing around on the hay castle. He needed a little help climbing up the rope ladder though.

They had a fun slide that Wyatt and Mom loved sliding down on. 

They also had a giant pit filled with corn kernels. Spencer was a good sport about being buried in them and Wyatt only played in it for a few minutes.

There was a barrel ride that we tried to put Wyatt on but he started crying and freaking out so he didn't actually ride on it but we did get a picture.

They also had some bounce houses that Wyatt loved jumping in. He jumped around in it for at least 20 minutes. 

Wyatt loved telling us where to go in the maze. With a little direction we did eventually find our way back out.

We took a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch and picked out our pumpkins to carve.

Spencer 4 months

Spencer is 4 months old!

~ He weighs 12 lbs 12 oz

~ He is 25 3/4 inches

~ He has started to roll from his back to his stomach

~ He has started talking more and likes to squeal

~ He has started to laugh out loud more and is ticklish

~ He has started to grab toys and hold onto them all by himself

3 Months Young

Spencer is 3!....? Months that is.

Spencer is a great bundle of joy. He now weighs a whopping 12.8 pounds. He usually sleeps from 9 pm to 8 am. He loves to watch Wyatt and follows people walking around the room with his head. He smiles more and more. But of course never when you get the camera out to take a picture.

He is starting to sit better, but he still needed a little extra padding from his blanket stuffed in front.

He holds his head up quite well.

He is beginning to grab and hold on to toys.

This is an added bonus.

Spencer's Baby Blessing Day

We had the opportunity to bless Baby Spencer at our church on Sept 4, 2016. This is sort of like the Christening of the Catholic church but no baptism is involved. Instead we give the baby a name and a blessing as they start this journey through life. The name we gave is Spencer Otto Scott. Otto is the name  of Liz's great-grandfather on her dad's side and we just liked the name Spencer sp that came from our heads.

I am an awful mother and didn't get a picture of the people who stood ion the circle with him during the blessing. However here is a list of those who had that opportunity.
