Spencer is 2 months

I know I missed one month but Spencer is 2 months old this week. Here are some memorable things that have happened:

~ Spencer is 23 1/4 inches long and weighs 9 lbs 13 oz
~ Sleeps 9 hours at night in his crib
~ Smiles at mom and has started to talk
~ Went on his first plane ride and long car trip and did wonderfully
~ went camping for the first time
~ He has started scooting around on the floor on his back by pushing with his feet

Wyatt's 2nd Birthday

Wow how time flies, Wyatt turned two years old on August 17.

~ He is 36 inches tall and 25 lbs
~ He loves trains, trucks, and planes
~ He loves to go swimming (as long as he can touch the bottom)
~ He loves bubbles, books, and being outside
~He absolutely loves to hold his baby brother!!

For his birthday we went to Chuckie Cheese and played lots of games. His favorite one was the train rides.

Then on Saturday we had a party with Jeff's family. Here is the cake that Liz made:

Wyatt did not want to blow out the candle. I think he was intimidated by all the people watching him.

Wyatt got lots of new toys to play with. A new bath toy, a bubble/water gun, and a numbers puzzle from Grandma and Grandpa Scott.

He got bubble wands and bubbles from Aunt Emilee and A new back pack, magnetic letters and numbers for the fridge, and a new train set and table from Mom and Dad.

We had lots of fun playing with all our new toys that day and were pooped that afternoon.

Thanks everyone for making it a memorable day.

Family Camping Trip

In July, we took the boys on our first family camping trip for Pioneer Day Weekend. We went up Ogden canyon for a  night and played in the river up there. Wyatt loved to run around and find rocks. He also loved climbing up on the big rocks that we had at our campsite.

Here is Wyatt eating a s'more.... or at least the chocolate part of a s'more.

Overall the trip was a success. We all got a lot less sleep then we do at home but that is to be expected when sleeping outside right?
