This was the year we made our big trip to Ohio to spend Christmas with the Anderson Clan. We took off on Thursday December 20th. In the car we had the 3 boys along with Liz, Jeff, and Nick Anderson who is going to school in Rexburg Idaho at the moment.
The trip was long but we did eventually make it to Ohio all in one piece.
We then had lots of fun playing at Papu and Mamu's house. We had lots of cousin and uncle and aunt time. Spencer even went down the zipline that they have in the back yard all by himself.
Connor loved mimicking the dogs and always laughed when they licked him in the face.
On Christmas eve we all wore the matching pajamas that Liz made.
(Missing from the picture is Wyatt because he was being a booger)
Then we all got to open one gift each. Except Spencer and Connor because they were already asleep by the time we opened gifts.
Wyatt opened a new Daisy Red Ryder BB Gun.
Jeff got a new IQ puzzle game
And Liz got 12 hens a laying....
Then we had a fun filled Christmas morning
Then the next day we headed up to Indianapolis Indiana to see Liz's cousin Jim Campbell get married to Charity Talbert
The next night we had a gingerbread decorating contest.
The next day we got to go to the zoo lights
The next day was Saturday and we had a group date at Top Golf. Liz was not very good at aiming at a specific hole but when she didn't have a specific target by the end of the night she was doing pretty well. Jeff was just pretty good all around.
Then later that night we played minute to win it games. We had the candy cane drop
Then the mitten balloon pop.
Then we had the sorting bell challenge.
Then the M&M sort.
The ping pong snowball fight.
Then the ornament wind race.
The streamer unroll.
Then finally the ornament table hockey.
On New Years Day we had the chance to use our museum pass at COSI in Columbus Ohio. The boys had lots of fun seeing dinosaurs, and learning about poisonous things, racing hot wheels cars, playing in a submarine, and discovering all sorts of other fun things.
Overall we had a great time and made lots of fun memories. Can't wait to see what adventures the year 2019 brings us.
