First Day of School 2019

Today was Wyatt's first day of kindergarten. 

He will be attending Municipal Elementary and has Ms. Merrill for his teacher. He has a friend from church in his class and is very excited about that. He wants to be a teacher when he grows up. He is 43 inches tall and is 5 years old. His favorite movie is Lion King, his favorite color is Pink, his favorite food is crackers, his favorite sport is running, his favorite TV show is Mia and Me, his favorite activity is playing games, his favorite candy is suckers, and his favorite song is Popcorn Popping.

The school is a little under a mile away from our house and we walked there this morning. When we got there they had a flag raising ceremony and then Wyatt walked with his teacher into the school to go to class.

 

Wyatt's 5th Birthday

We celebrated Wyatt's 5th birthday this past Saturday. We actually had his party on his birthday this year and he got to choose everyone who he invited. We just had it at our house and he invited everyone of his primary friends and he wanted all his cousins there. However, some of his cousins live very far away but we got most of them there.

When I asked Wyatt what he wanted on his cake he just said he wanted Mickey on it.

We had pizza for dinner and then we played slip n slide kickball in the backyard. Liz filled the pools earlier in the day so the water was nice and warm. Therefore the kids had a ton of fun just jumping in the pools and playing in the water but we did play a modified version of kickball.

Then we went inside and opened presents. He got lots of cool toys. He got a box of new dinosaurs, coloring books and crayons, 2 new movies, movie snacks, play dough, walkie talkies, a new blanket for his bed, a transformers shirt, transformer toys, Minecrft on the computer, and a new Razor scooter.

Then we sang to Wyatt and cut the cake.

Then we had lots of fun playing with all Wyatt's new toys with his friends. He even tried the scooter out. Although he did inform me he needs to practice before he will be good at it.
