Thanksgiving in Ohio

We took a trip to Ohio for Thanksgiving. We left right after picking Wyatt up from school on Friday and drove all the way in one go with 2 stops, one for dinner and one for breakfast. So we got in Saturday evening after driving for 25 hours.

The car ride there actually went really well. The boys slept all night long ( which was a blessing). With the 2 stops they didn't go too crazy but they were ready to get out of the car by the end though.

We got to see all of Liz's siblings and their families. We spent a lot of time with the cousins.

We also took a trip to see the lights at the Cincinnati Zoo.

Connor did end up getting some sort of sickness so he spent a lot of time cuddled up with Dad.

Sorry I didn't get any pictures of Thanks giving Day. However, on Black Friday we took a trip up to Indianapolis to go through the temple with Johnathon. All 7 siblings were in the temple together which has never happened before so that was awesome. We then spent the day in New Castle visiting with some of Mamu's siblings and there children.

We then traveled home. We had to take the trip home in two days because I-80 was closed in Nebraska due to a blizzard. We then had to go south down to Denver and take I-70 through the mountains and then travel north again. It added about 3 hours to our trip but we made it home in Sunday night in time for Wyatt to go to school the next day and Jeff to get to work. I will say it seemed like a very long trip after doing it all in one day on the way out. However, we had a lot of fun and it was great to see all the family while we were there.
