Discovery Museum

We took Liz's mom to the airport on July 2nd to go home from her visit here. While we were down in the area, we decided to check out the discovery children's museum in the Gateway mall in Salt Lake City. It was really fun for Wyatt and he just kept moving from one thing to the next.

They had a helicopter that you could pretend to drive outside.

They had a car with a bunch of tools that you could play with. They even had a step stool so Wyatt could reach into the car and pretend to fix it.

There was a farm corner where you could play with animals and ride a life size horse

Wyatt really loved the water table where you could play with buckets and put balls down pipes.

Wyatt found a vacuum that he could push around all by himself.

Wyatt also found a phone which he pretended to talk on for a good 5 minutes.

There was a construction zone where you could build houses and other buildings out of foam blocks. Wyatt really liked the trucks they had there as well.

There was a tree house that you could crawl through. Wyatt didn't want to go through it but followed Jeff when he went inside.

There were a bunch of things you could do with balls. This is a plinko board that lit up the path that the balls fell down. There was also some pipes that blew air out of them, so when you put a ball on the top they would float in the air. Wyatt really liked that one.

Spencer's Newborn Pictures/ Family Pictures

We had the opportunity to take newborn pictures of Spencer when a family friend came down to have lunch with my mom while she was here. While she was taking pictures, we also took a few family shots and some of Wyatt. Enjoy!
