We bought a house!!!!

We are now officially home owners! We moved almost exactly 2 miles north of where our apartment was, into the city of Roy. We are really excited for this new chapter in our lives and have already been doing some improvements on the house. Jeff says the worst thing about living here is that his bike ride to work has now tripled though. It went from 1.5 miles to 3.9 miles. So it didn't exactly triple the bike ride but it is close.

We moved in in the middle of May and have loved being here. Here are some pictures and how we have started to make it our own...

OUTSIDE

We haven't done much to the front of the house so far but Liz did do a lot of weeding the first week we were here and planted a few lilies in the front. We have plans to start pulling out the front bushes and will start that sometime this month. We have also been delighted to have a strawberry patch on the side of the house and have enjoyed picking and eating them.

LIVING ROOM

We painted the living room and Liz made curtains for the front window and the back door. Ignore all the places are supposed to go.... We are waiting till the baby comes and will fill them in.

WYATTS ROOM

We painted the boys room upstairs and now have Wyatt sleeping in a toddler bed every night. Liz also made the Winnie the Pooh curtains in their room.

BACK YARD

We have been patching the grass (the owners before us had 3 very big dogs who left large trails of dead grass everywhere). We actually bought a lawn mower and have started weeding the garden back here. We are very excited to have a fire pit and have tried the horseshoes a couple of times. We aren't very good but are hoping to be able to practice more.

Overall we are excited and love the church ward we have moved into. Now we are just anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby boy #2.
