For Christmas we got some money to go to an experience as a family. We decided to go to the Midway Ice Castles since we had never been. So thank you Uncle Ilya, Aunt Stephanie, and Max for this experience.
We all got bundled up and we went on Martin Luther King Jr Day as a family.
It was really cool to walk through all the tunnels.
Some of the tunnels got really small and you had to crawl on hands and knees to get around which was not ideal for Liz so she opted out of some of them but Jeff followed the two older boys around.
Connor had some troubles walking around in the snow but he just kept getting back up and trying to go again. He did start to complain when his gloves got really wet and cold though.
There was a slide that the boys went down. Jeff and Liz even made it down at least once each.
We kept having to tell Wyatt to stop eating the snow. He didn't get why it wasn't a good idea to eat the snow hundreds of people have been walking on....
We even found a throne for Wyatt to sit on.
Wyatt even got to make a snow angel.
After walking around in the snow, we went to a restaurant place called the "Dairy Keen". It was a trained themed restaurant. It had a model train that went in a figure 8 around the ceiling of the dining area that the boys loved to watch. They also had a mini train table for the boys to play on and a Lego table where you could build things.
