Disney World 2019 Part 2

On Thursday, we had breakfast at the Old Key West Resort at Olivia's Cafe.

After breakfast, we took a break from Disney and headed over to Universal to spend the day. We started off in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Wyatt and his cousin Jared got a wand and they got to try casting spells around the park.

We also got to ride a hippogriff.

After that we went over to Jurassic Park and took a raft ride through the dinosaur park. Then we got to meet a Velociraptor.

Connor was mesmerized by the dinosaur. Spencer liked the dinosaur but didn't want to get to close. Then the dinosaur lunged at him and he did not appreciate that.

After that we took the boys over to Popeye's ship to play while the older people went on more rides.

We didn't get to ride the Hulk Coaster because when we went to get in line it started to down pour which shut the ride down. We waited for about an hour to see if it would come back up but it didn't so we left to go see other things.

Papu fell asleep while "watching" the kids...

Before dinner we went over to the other side of the park and we rode the minions ride and then saw some transformers.

Then we went to dinner at CowFish with Liz's cousin Tim Anderson and his family as well as Chris Anderson, who all live in Orlando Florida. Tim works for Universal.

On Friday, we had breakfast at the Rainforest Cafe.

After breakfast, we headed over to the dinosaur park.

The last time the Anderson family was at Disney World was March of 2007. During that visit, we rode the dinosaur ride in Animal Kingdom and its the only picture from a ride that Liz's parents bought during their visit because it was so funny. So this trip, we tried to recreate it as best we could with 2 additions because they didn't want to be left behind. We did pretty well for not remembering exactly where they take the picture...

After that ride, we went on a Safari around the animal reserves they have in the park.

During our safari, we even got stopped on the road by a white rhino.

Then it was on to conquer Mount Everest. The boys got to ride this motorcycle while the adults went and rode the ride.

We then went to the Bug's Life Ride. And it was another recreation moment.

Then we walked around the park waiting until it was time for our last fast pass of the day. We saw lots of things and the boys got hats to take home with them.

Then we headed over to Pandora to ride the new Avatar ride. It was awesome! By far one of the best rides we rode at Disney World. Also the amount of detail they put into the Pandora part of the park is phenomenal. It was an awesome place to just wander around.

After that we headed back to the resort to have dinner and go swimming.

On Saturday, we woke up and went and played a Frisbee game that the Anderson boys made up a long time ago called Anderon.

Then we went over to Epcot to spend the day over there.

The first ride we rode was Test Track. It is a ride that you design your own car using the options they give you. Then you go on the ride and they test your car in a series of tests to give you an overall score. Wyatt got the highest score of 216.

Then we went over to ride Spaceship Earth. Which is located in the iconic ball in Epcot.

After that we went to Mission Space and took a trip to Mars. The we went on the Finding Nemo ride and saw all the aquatic animals.

Finally we walked around the International Loop and saw all the different countries and the different disney characters from those countries. We also had dinner at the Biergarten Restaurant in Germany.

Norway- Anna and Elsa

China- Mulan

Germany- Snow White

We also went through France but missed Belle. Then we went to England and decided to try to see how many people we could fit in a telephone booth.

Then we went through Canada and Jeff got his Canadian Picture.

Sunday was the day that we checked out but our flight didn't leave until 6 PM. So we spent the morning mini golfing.

Then we headed home that night. It was a fun trip and great to see everyone!
